Don Pedro Pérez Pardo was born in a Valencian village where the vineyards were the main source of income, but it was the Spanish Civil War which was to force him to leave this environment and look for other ways to maintain his family.
It has been a life-long dream of Don Pedro Pérez Pardo to create a winery. “Enguera Vitivinícola” is situated within the Clariano subzone of the Valencia Quality Wine (DO) region. Here the growing of vines and the making of good wines are ancient activities.
His initial ambition and capacity for work took him into the oil and fuel business world, later he developed his companies into other areas such as citrus fruit farming and olive growing, but he has never forgotten his family origins, firmly rooted in the growing of vines.
So, after dedicating his whole life to work, he finally decided to fulful his dream and “create a winery with its very own vines”, equipped with the latest technology for the production of wine. He gathered round him a young highly qualified team which he carefully chose himself. They have a common aim: to make Enguera Vitivinícola a model winery within the Valencia Region recognized for the quality of its wines and the scope of its reputation at home and abroad.
