La Motte Scoops a DOUBLE Trophy and Gold in London

La Motte scooped the Trophy for Best South African Red as well as the Trophy for Best South African Shiraz at the prestigeous International Wine Challenge awards in London, as well as a Gold Medal.
Simon Halliday of Raisin Social was delighted with the result. 'To win a Trophy at the International Wine challenge is great, but to win two is really tremendous. It is a great reflection on the hard work and indiviual attention La Motte have put into the quality of their wines. It's an honour to have that recognised by such as prestigeous competition'
The International Wine Challenge Judges said the wine has...'Wonderful ripe blackcurrant, jammy nose, dry and well integrated on the palate. Balanced with great length and fruit character.'
